Te Mania Angus has generously offered an elite yearling heifer and a compilmentary semen straw as a potenial breeder encouragement award at the Roundup since 2003.

This award is designed to give a young person the opportunity to start their own Angus herd with a foundation animal from one of Australia's leading Angus Seedstock producers.

To Apply:

• You need to attend the Roundup in January 2011
• Write a one page letter outlining why would like to win the Te Mania heifer, how you intend to look after her, and what your breeding plans are!
  

The highest scoring written applicants will be interviewed at the 2011 Angus Youth National Roundup.The winner will be decided based on the written application, interview, Roundup participation and performance in the Junior Judging Competition.
