Angus Youth New Zealand Exchange
|
Each year an Angus Youth member is funded to travel to Auckland or Wellington from a capital city on the east coast and the New Zealand Angus Association funds a return airfare to Australia for one of their youth.
The tour will be a minimum of four and up to eight weeks duration. Exchangees will be encouraged to attend the events in their exchange country which include sales, shows and beef industry events.
In addition they will be given the opportunity to study local seedstock and commercial Angus production through 5 day host family farm stays organised by the New Zealand Angus Association in NZ and Angus Youth while in Australia.
The Angus Youth New Zealand Exchange is awarded annually at the Rounudp. Applications must compete at the Roundup in addition to submitting a resume and cover letter and siiting for an interveiw.
