This scholarship was offered by the Stebbings family of UK in memory of their son Andrew. Andrew Stebbings died while his parents were in Australia attending the 1997 World Angus Congress in Sydney . In recognition of assistance offered to the Stebbings family at that time, this scholarship is being offered.

Sponsored by Trevor Stebbings, chairman of the UK Angus Youth development committee and his wife Kate, the Stebbings UK scholar will visit a variety of commercial and stud Angus properties, have the opportunity to attend major agricultural shows and generally gain an insight into the beef industry in the UK .

This scholarship was first offered in 2006. Angus Youth is currently exploring options to again offer this exciting opportunity.
