The 2008 Semex Genetics
Michigan State University Scholarship


Each year the Semex Genetics Michigan State University scholarship gives a young beef cattle enthusiast the opportunity of a lifetime, providing them with a return trip to the US to study at the renowned Michigan State University together with up to AUD$2000 towards subject enrolment and AUD$2000 towards accommodation expenses.

The scholarship also awards the winner a seat on the Semex Genetics Beef Breeders tour of the US, travelling with staff from Semex, the world’s largest AI organisation.

This exciting opportunity is open to beef cattle enthusiasts aged between 21 and 30 when taking up the scholarship. Tertiary education is not a requirement.

As part of the selection process you will be required to attend the Angus Youth National Judging Competition where you will attend the Angus Youth Alumni Dinner, be interviewed and give a brief presentation on a specified topic.
