2005 Landfall Angus Youth National
Youth Roundup, Gunnedah Showgrounds,
14th to 16th January

This year, with 126 competitors and over 130 cattle entered, the Roundup continued to grow and again proved to be a huge success. Friday’s learning program helped participants increase their awareness and knowledge in areas such as early weaning; GeneStar testing; EBV’s; structural assessment; breeding programs and techniques and cattle handling skills.

Saturday incorporated junior judging competitions, cattle judging classes and in the evening the Special Dinner and Dance proved to be a hit with a Country & Western theme.

Paraders classes followed on Sunday morning and the RoundUp closed with the presentation ceremony.
